While students attend Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, they tend to forget about the perils that await them once they finish. Inside the hallowed halls of the castle that they quickly come to think of as a second home, they are sheltered from the prospects of rent, careers, and the murmurs of a rising activist group headed by some bloke who calls himself the Dark Lord. While they are taught the fundamentals of a life as witches and wizards, it seems as though the key element of living is missing - just how to grow up.

But now the year is 1977 and it seems that growing up has hit many of the Hogwarts alumni hard. Groups of friends are living together in order to save money and others are struggling just to make ends meet. There are still the pampered few that have never had to worry about money - and probably never will. There are disappearances all over the country, each one more mysterious than the next, but life will not stop for such things. Rent will still be due at the end of the month, groceries must be bought, and Quidditch needs to be played.

Armed with the knowledge of what they had managed over the years, the alumni have no choice but to go out into the world, whether they are ready or not. They didn't know what was to come. But, these were the days they were given and they had no choice but to make them the best out of their lives.
